    Default Untouched

    Untouched

The endless low buzzes in my brain.
    Supersonic rushes gone.
What can I do to end the suffering?

    There I sit,
Clutching at the morsels of sanity.
    Yet there they remain
    Beyond my grasp
    Untouched.

    Swollen body a ship,
    Lead-ridden heart sinking.
Begging for the plethora of emotions.
    Yet still they remain
    Beyond my grasp
    Untouched.

    Will I ever reach?
    Could I ever reach?
    Will power waining...
    Distance too far...
    Arms powerless...

    And so there they'll remain.
    Untouched.

Good depiction of the effects of depression ( or maybe heavy hang-overs when "supersonic rushes gone" ? ) on the body. I like it

When I say 'it' I mean poetry as a whole.

'Untouched' is all my own work however.
