A quick signature for myself. My hard drive crashed a few days back. I bought a new 2TB drive and I just got photoshop installed on it, so to celebrate I took a few minutes to create this.

I really hate my comp entry! It looks like Rome throw up. lol I did five different signatures and non of them felt right to me. I killed photoshop last night and didn't save any of them. They were all better than what I submitted. I might try to do something else later. What I submit just looks like crap to me. amature I think sums it up perfectly.

No I didn't draw that. I can draw a bit but not that well. Maybe when I was younger. I have lost my skills a bit as I have gotten older and not had time to practice.

Yes I added the color and some adjustments. Also ROME in the backgroud. I needed more time on it to tell the truth but I was already running late on getting the new comp. posted. I still think it looks pretty good, better than my earlier submission.

The New York City Department of Records has posted their photo archive going back to the mid 1800's. Some great photos! Just awesome! Here is a composite that the AP put together.

One of my favorites is" A man looks at the Hudson River from the New York tower of the George Washington Bridge on Dec. 22, 1936." If you go through the composition from the AP article you will see it. There are some great pics including some crime scenes, but the look into what life was like way back when in the older pictures is just great. NY is just so beautiful, even when its dark and dirty and mean. I can't help but love it.
