    Your mod is good and I can give you an A but you must make 2 changements in 1346 mod for histroşcal accuracy. A) At first Il-khanate was disestablished in 1335 so there was no Il-Khanate in1346 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ilkhanate )
    B) Make some changements for Ottoman Empire in 1346 Ottoman empire was only controlled these cities.Nicaea(izmit),Nicomedia (izmit) and Anatolian side of Galliapoli (çanakkale),Bursa (brussa) (northwest of anatolian cities) Ottomans was not controlled Smyrna (izmir) or Iconium (konya) these cities were controlled by several turkish beyliks.Such as Germiyanoğulları, Karamanoğulları (the strongest beylik till 1340)...etc Look at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anatolian_Turkish_Beyliks

    I really do not think that the massive amount of time it takes for the AI to makes it moves is ram related.I am running 4 gigs of Ram and a Radeon 4850 card and still have this issue.and I have played every mod currently availavle,and this is the only one that this problem arises with save for Machiavelli,and that was due to the multitude of factions and the heavy scripting involved.But as I said..not a game breaker..just annoying.

    I was aware that the Il Khanate had collapsed by 1346 but I decided to include it because in 1346 this area was a collection of small factions until the Timurids conquered it (1363-1370). I could replace it with the Jalayirid sultanate, but this would means there are more rebel provinces in this area.

    Thanks for informing me about the Ottoman cities, I'll make Smyrna and Iconium rebel provinces.

    I'm trying to reduce the turn time but it's not easy, since I don't know what's causing it. I tried reducing the movement of armies and agents on the strat map but this had little effect. This problem may be related to the large number of factions (31) or the sheer size of this mod (4.5GB, while most mods are between 1 and 2 GB) but changing either will be difficult.

    I've started a thread in the scripting forum to see if anyone can help me reduce the turn time. It can be viewed here:

    Thanx for the response.I know it is a difficult matter to fix the issue that has arise,being the long AI turn time,so no worries there,and I really appreciate(and I am sure many others do as well)you looking into this issue for us,for this really is the only fault I can possibly see with what is truly another great masterpiece of a modand I am thinking the number of factions may be one of the larger issues here,at least judging from my experience with this incredible lag time in Machiavelli,which boasts a very large amount of factions as well.The lag time on the AI turn seems to be the same length for both mods,and this is the only commong ground between the 2.

    Hi, I am several turns in, and I am noticing no Princesses or offers for domestic marriages, is this an error in the game or should I just keep playing? Been playing for a couple of hours now.

    I was playing along as France when all the sudden it was Venice's turn and the game just frose up. I have all the patches and stuff.

    You buy either 512 MB or 1 gig, whatever your computer has an open (or open) slot(s) for.

    You have to see if you have any open slots first, where the RAM catridge goes. Than buy what you're able to.

    512 MB if I'm not mistaken is not horribly expensive, or maybe just a little.

    Can you post an error log? The error log is the 'system.log.txt' file in the 'C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\logs' folder.


    UPDATE: the Empires the mod is going well but I'm having problems with some factions. Currently the Kazakh, Uzbek, and Chagatai Khanates all have the same unit roster (they just have mongolian units). Does anyone have any suggestions regarding how I could make these factions more individual?

    When i select a faction it returns me to the main menu, and i can't download that file (its red and does nothing) Any help?

    My man, there's nothing he can do. It's a large mod. Go to any computer retailer and they'll tell you what RAM is, how to install it, and if your computer can even handle it.

    Question to Uanime - where the fluck does the admiral rar file get extracted into? I tried everywhere, or at least almost everywhere

    When you unpack the admiral.rar you'll get a folder called 'Admiral' inside it are two folders called 'crusades' and 'renaissance'. The 'crusades' and 'renaissance' folders need to go in the 'C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\conquest\data' folder. You then need to recopy the files for this change to take effect (the Crusades campaign needs the version in the Crusades folder and the Renaissance campaign needs the version in the Renaissance folder).

    Also what are those units? I can't make them out.

    There are several Mongol retextures out there. You could give each faction a separate set.
