i love that map....is just the map final? or all the settlements final to? they seem really spread out.
i love osgiliath and cair andros

That is A M A Z I N G ! ! ! +rep... as always
Computer crashed... SAD
It's a Castle, from the looks of it (it's a settlement, anyway).
In order to cross the Anduin at Osgiliath, you need to control both sides of the city.
Technically, I guess we could edit the strat map model to look like a mountain. :hmmm:
Amon Sûl = Weathertop

Wow, the words I can think of just aren't enough to say how AMAZING this is! To bad I can't give +rep yet.
What's that agent near Minas Tirith? I remember I saw it before in a map preview or something like that and someone of the mod team said: "It's just a bush......." But it doesn't looks like a bush to me! I believe it's a spy or assasin, am I right? Or is it supposed to be a secret until the mod is out?
Can I ask who made those awesome map textures? +REP!
Thanks everyone for the feedback!
To answer some things:
most settlements just havn't built roads yet. However, I have built the map with the complete road network so that I could adjust the geography organically and fitting to the roads. Also, some cities seem to not have roads connecting to others, is this intended? :hmmm:
strat map yes, battle map no, or better not yet...GREEAAAT work!!!gratz!!!2 questions:i hope that black gate will be figured on the map and also dol guldur...!
There is a landbridge between east and west osg., which I have just made invisible because those green arrows were so ugly.Do I need ships to get over anduin near osgiliath or do you add landbridges? (these green arrows between 2 coasts  )
Well, you can see the whole map outline in the first picture, which is the radar map. I don't want to show all parts of the map to leave some surprises when you finally play the mod.could we see an overview or two of the map please? it is difficult to see how all things areas go together
Ups, actually I wanted to delete this character before making the screenshot. Anyway, all I can say is that this is NOT a bush!! But it is something evil...What's that agent near Minas Tirith? I remember I saw it before in a map preview or something like that and someone of the mod team said: "It's just a bush......." But it doesn't looks like a bush to me! I believe it's a spy or assasin, am I right? Or is it supposed to be a secret until the mod is out?
Some are my own, some base textures are from Shved, but I have modified them all heavily. Can I ask who made those awesome map textures? +REP!
However, the real (time-consuming) difficulty was to make smooth junctions between many different textures and colour shades to give the map a more organic feel.

thanks for these quick answers... i really want to kill some orcs on this map
I know what it is since it was left to Alpha version.
Really Really awesome
I can't wait for this to be released
The map is beautiful work indeed, though I have a few questions.
1)As someone mentioned before shouldn't the Argonath both face the lake? It was mentioned that way in the books I think.(not sure though)
2)The Grey Heavens were partly on bothe sides of the gulf, is it possible to make them same way as Osgiliath? If not having Harlond more south west would be good.
3)Wasn't Rivendell in somekind of valley? I mean it should be in more "Highish land" as the "Highland" started not far east from it.
4)Is Annuminas just not seeable on the screenshot or is it not there? If the second I think it should, as there was no major battle there it wasn't destroyed as for example Fornost.
5)Are there Dwarven cities in Iron hills(Does the map reach to them?)?
6)The land you named Harad is actually Harondor(at least mostly)
7)Mirkwood is just beautiful can't stop looking at it.
8)Moria is well done though I think the border of the "terrain" it govers should be much smaller on the east.
9)Is there no Black gate model? I mean the settlement looks same as other orc ones.
Anyway as I said perfect work as always.

The Duke of Dunwich and surrounding fiefdom
For any who are interested by my FF on occurrences in Rhun and beyond; I have begun a new project (not because the old one is finished, just opening more room for ideas) about one of the minor characters, Rankal. It is in the Third Age AAR index and here is the link http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=376994
OMG The map is so nice!!!
