    I'm thinking the same! I cant wait till its out. Im starting to give up but i know that the developers also have normal lives too. I do appreciate what theyre doing. Just wish it was out next week or something so i can stay i and play the bugger all day/night lol! Just hope there are islands which i can invade like Malta, isle of white and Cyprus etc!

    We don't have lives at all, we are modding all the FKING time, seriously. It's just that this mod is HUGE.

    Yes Malta, Isle of Wight and Cyprus are very invade-able! We actually have some unique buildings and units and titles for Cyprus which allow you to create the Kingdom of Cyprus under certain conditions.

    Right now, I think we are yes. The Moorish invasion of Iberia was religiously motivated as was Saladin's counter-attack in Syria. There was also the Mamluk jihad against the Mongols--- so there is some motivation for keeping it. I know what you mean though, but don't forget there are only five Muslim factions- and not even they are all the same religion since Shia and Sunni will be two different religions in DotS, so Jihads will actually be pretty useful for maintaining an edge for the Muslims in-game.

    Hello DotS,
    In the vanilla version of MTW2 settlements start out very simple, in general of course. How do the settlements start out in DotS. Everybody wants to see their citys grow, but some settlements would start out with only, lets say a farm, which makes the settlement seem quite unrealistic. I have seen the previews on the building-trees but how do the settlements start out. All the cities in this mod are either real cities or powercenters, so I'm sure they will be made up of more than just a townhall and a wooden wall. Can i get a bit more info on this?

    Before I have asked about how you will tackle the question of armour and armouries as far as I remember it wasnt really settled. Basicly I dont like the idea of only being able to build one building at a time no matter of much or little money you have (in one settlement, that is). For many I am sure a new armoury that would take 6 turns (in vanilla) if you are going to upgdrade you city walls or something similiar. What are your thoughts? Would it be better to do it like Broken Crescent?

    The first question: all of the settlements will be based on historical data. London will be a big settlement, with lots of buildings, but russian steppe villages will be very underdeveloped ones. For example: If at the start date (1080) there was Grain exchange in the city, it will be represented in the game too. If there was't, you know...

    is this mod take a long time each turn change.?? like in another great mod.?

    By the way i hope this mod have realistic unit , i often found mod while i use 1 unit can survive against many , that's veru unrealistic

    If Shia and Sunni will be seperate religions, which one will get the Jihad feature? As far as I know, you can only give it to one religion, by using the original Islam slot.

    Technically a faction can have several religions active although there is only one parent religion if that makes sense. So quite simply we will bend the way the faction uses it's main religion. Lithuania is another point in case since it's main religion is intended to be able to change during the campaign

    yeah it hasn't been clear to me too...

    In principle the mod will be able to be played in hotseat mode. It was answered about 2 month ago so it's not a wonder that you've not found it. But I will can give a final answer when alfa test is finished.

    I make this question because some features of DotS are like bellum crucis 6.3, and in this mod lots of interesting scripts are not compatible with hotseat mode

    Not sure if this has been asked, but will you guys use Marka horses? I think they are a must for this mod.

    this sound almost as impossible. At least it makes clear to me why it takes so much time. If you have to do this for 199 settlements.. Omg. Thats so much.
