Recommend me a Language

So I (by mother tongue) speak English. Simple. After living in Frankfurt, Germany can speak German. I am in a sense tired of the two languages a wish to learn another. Now I hope someone can point me in the right direction, and maybe even teach me, but I want to learn another language. French at school is just the same. Passed.

I aspire European languages, and see learning languages, strangly fun.

Now I am being slightly picky. I want to learn a language that has no:

• No Male & Female business (when speaking that is)
• A Central/Eastern European Dialect
• Uses accents
• You could (possibly) teach me it

It passes half of your requirments . But trully, a great language. Welsh is my second, and it is a really beautifull sounding one. It is also the oldest active language in Europe. It ties in with lots of Latin, if you know some of that.

As for the No Male & Female business, atcually it does pass that, apart from mutations. Mutations? Easy buisness, its just like when Americans speak English they change cerain letters so you can say it easier, like: 'Do you wanna..'.

As an added bonus if you have digital you could tune in to Welsh TV from North England (I think, you can from Kent anyway). It is also one of the only languages to use a Cynghannedd, a type of complicated Metre you use in Poems which is one of the oldest ways of poetry and sounds beautifull. The only other language you can use a Cynghannedd in is Somalian.

It is also Phonetic, as in you say it as you read it and spell it as you say it, making speaking and writing easy. You don't get none of the silly English 'C' sounding like 'S', and silent letters e.t.c.

The only drawback is that its accent and the letter pronouciating gets a while to get used to, and then later on Mutations. But I would recommend Welsh.

Finnish fits that category, so does the Gaelic languages. But I think you'll need a bit of an accent for the Gaelic ones, but since it's similiar to the German ones with the "ch" and stuff it won't be a problem.

As to where you'll learn these languages, I don't know.

Maybe Flemish (the version of Dutch Flemings speak) ? The male/female business isn't that hard and there are just a few words using accents. There are many twc members with Flemish as native language, who can help with learning flemish, but the problem is that Flemish is quite difficult to learn for non-flemings, although you've got a good start, you already speak German

Swedish fits all the demands, except it's not Central/Eastern European. Knowing German is certainly a benefit if you want to learn it though, as it's a Germanic language.
Also, I've heard from foreigners that it's a beautiful language (I can't say this for sure, as Swedish is my mother tongue). Just a suggestion.

Learn a Scandinavian language. It mostly fits your terms.

Despite Danish being what I speak, I don't recommend learning it because the pronunciation is hard to a foreigner. What with the D's that sound like L's and stød.

You should try Norwegian or Swedish. You will probably like them, and they will not be as hard for you since you know German.

i corrected that for you, i can't understand a word of french, and my German isn't that good either.
i think Dutch would be no problem for you, as you speak both English and German. How about Russian?
