Console wont drop down on laptop

This is brought up on a regular basis in this forum - please use the search facility. The answer you are looking for may be in an existing thread.

You could have helped matters by letting us know what version of Windows you are running, what language Windows is and what language your keyboard is.

Thanks for the link - that will allow players to set any key to bring up the console.

As posted elsewhere it isn't a Vista thing as I have no problems bringing up the console with Vista using the same keys as were used with Windows XP.

It's a language / keyboard setting that appears to be mainly limited to laptops (with my UK laptop I have no problem opening the console - that does use Windows XP).
