Troy total war is my fave mod Ive played. Im not even considering buying Empires. Dont like the sound of it at all. I dislike gundpowder/musketeer warfare no matter how well its done. It even put me off playing medieval when the units were available later in the game. Its all about arrows, javeleins, spears and swords! How warfare should be

As a suggestion, could you do a sticky post that you update regarding the progress? With percentages next to the key features of the mod that are left to do? Basically like the third war mod have. It gives everyone a good picture of what still needs to be done.

The other advantage of buying Alexander is that it's quite easy to modify other mods to use the exe (details of how to do this are in the EBII forum). I've been using the Alexander exe for RTR VII TIC and RS 1.5c.

The Roma Surrectum team have modified their installer to do the necessary changes if it detects the Alexander exe in the target game folder. Other mods may have done this as well - I don't know about them.

yes. because its for alex. if it was for med2 or empire i wouldnt: that way it wouldnt have heroes .
