    Main topic aside how did you do that?

    Javelins really murder elephants so fast... I mean, elephants are nice to have as some high durability tank against infantry and cavalry, but new players may get their own generals killed against the plentiful javelins in BC for a long time. Again, how did you do that?

    Hi

    I lost so many Rajput Generals to javelins in earlier campaigns so I had to find some way to survive them.They even got killed chasing routers.
    They are long distance bowmen so I keep them behind the other foot archers now until I'm sure there are no javelins or fire archers as a threat.
    I usually set up Rajputs with infantry in the front row then longbows 2nd row and cavalry well out if the way behind until I'm sure it's ok to use them in a charge.
    Non general elephants are ok to use to break infantry because after a while Rajputs make so much money that you can replace losses .
    Btw make sure you cover the flanks so enemy javelins can't get at the elephants with javelin cavalry.I bend the infantry line back at each end for this...refused flanks.

    I hadn't seen posts by Mirage of late, only you. Are you spearheading this lastest update with the team, or just the one who's updating the forums?
