Thread: PLEASE, PLEASE, HELP!!!

    Default PLEASE, PLEASE, HELP!!!

I am totally freakin' out! I desperately want to play this MOD as this is my favorite game and the English Civil War is one of my favorite historical topics. However, after I install the MOD, the shortcut does not appear and the in-game screen is framed by the task bar. I wrote about this problem earlier, but got no response. I cannot play the game, but I can get into it and lamely use the map screen. Battles, however, are essentially impossibel to fight. I have used many different MODs, usually with great results, but this MOD won't work for me. Please, if you have any suggestions, please send them to me. I don't want to yell at the kids or kick the dog anymore! I'm just kidding, but I am bummed out about it. Please help!

First thing, take a deep breath.

Second thing. There's no desktop shortcut. You have to goto your Medieval II Total War folder and double click for_king_or_country or for_king_or_country.bat.

Third thing. It's running in windowed mode, this is my fault. Open for_king_or_country.cfg, scroll to the very bottom line, change windowed from true to false. Save the file and play the game.

    Cheers

Thank you so much AlphaDelta! Everything is working great. This is an amazing MOD and lives up to the freak-out I was having. I, my children, and my dog (if I had one) thank you. I will be playing this MOD for a good long time. If you are a Royalist or a Roundhead, let me know and I will play my first full campaign as your favorite. Thanks again!
