This is very bad. It's four o'clock in the morning and I've been playing for six and a half straight hours.
How am I supposed to get anything done? Who's going to feed the kids?
This is bad...

I hear ya, thank God that I'm still playing the trial which limits me to about 30-60 minutes of gameplay.
How about: Do everything you're supposed to do, and then play. Or teach the kids about how life was in the Middle Ages.
"How shall humankind ever find peace if the soul remains conscious in the sky and the shadow in the Underworld? The combination of sweet bait and naivety completely destroyes Nature's best gift: death, and doubles the agony of the dying with worries of a future!" - Pliny the Elder
Heh.
This is smoked fish. I expect your morale to be +4 now. Let me know when someone level-ups in their pants...
Always feed and water the children...
oh what I do every hour is get up from the chair and do 5 minutes worth of chores or weight lifting, I find that gives me the extra energy for distance gaming plus then I get my laundry done.

And you spend countless hours with travelling...
Troop speed 4.0 and bam you spend hour after hour trotting from one city to the other -
I usually get something done quickly when I have to travel a long distance, just click where you have to go, get up and quickly do something, stop halfway, and go check if you reached your destination, Don't do this when you have to coock tough as you'll tend to start coocking, interupt to see if you arived, decide to do just 1 tiny thing in M&B, sit down..... smell something burning and realise that 1 tiny thing became an hour of play
Or change timescale from .25 to 1, and you go four times as fast.
uh, good to know.. thanks
Is there anything more fun than couched lance damage on some poor unsuspecting Rhodok crossbowman?
I submit that there is not.
I love when you are charging a archer and he is just about to release his arrow when you thrust your lance to his face. Moments like that are so rewarding.
By the way, how do you change the timescale for map travel?

Nah. Cheating is aiming low for the horse then pulling up after contact. You kill the horse and the guy and because the horse is dead there is no collision - your horse won't even break stride.
It is however rather embarrassing to ride your horse into a tree while in hot pursuit...
