I don't understand what you are asking. Hayasdan is Armenia. They have the potential to become a reborn Persian Empire. Their kings were descended from the Acheamenid Persia dynasty, and Tigran the Great showed that they might have pulled it off, had not the Romans interfered.

There is more information on the Hayasdan reforms here.

Historically, the Sassanids were indeed the second Persian Empire (if you don't count the Parthians). However, in EB you can rewrite history. Hence, the Armenians have a chance to become the Persian empire as well.

The Parthians are indeed Iranians. They always were. The Turks would not arrive in the middle east until the 10th century AD.

As with Blackader, I experience a CTD when deciding the fate of a conquered city. This happens every time. My install was as clean as a whistle so I know its not down to that, but this is making the mod unplayable. Any help or clues guys? Purrrleeese?:hmmm:

In M2TW, we'll be able to have the Sweboz general speak Proto-Germanic, the Aedui/Arverni/Casse general speak Gallic, and Lusotannan general speak Q-Celtic.. etc. Voices are seperated into "accents" which are linked directly to factions.

I hoped to use the normal troops for custom battles too instead of only mercenaries...

You must start the game using the "Play Multi Player" option to play custom battles correctly.

How to do that? And why have they chosen this option?

You should get four shortcuts created on your desktop when installing 1.1 (over which you patch 1.2), one of which is a multi-player icon which is also the one for custom battles.

The options for "Single Player" and "Multiplayer" should be in your Windows Start Menu.

This has been done this way because it has to be done this way. The custom battle system was not designed for the amount of units (specifically shared units) that EB has. The only option available to be able to have the accurate units for all factions in custom/multiplayer battles is to switch out the export_desc_units.txt. By choosing the options in the Start Menu, this file is automatically switched out.

"Therefore I am not in favour of raising any dogmatic banner. On the contrary, we must try to help the dogmatists to clarify their propositions for themselves. Thus, communism, in particular, is a dogmatic abstraction; in which connection, however, I am not thinking of some imaginary and possible communism, but actually existing communism as taught by Cabet, Dézamy, Weitling, etc. This communism is itself only a special expression of the humanistic principle, an expression which is still infected by its antithesis – the private system. Hence the abolition of private property and communism are by no means identical, and it is not accidental but inevitable that communism has seen other socialist doctrines – such as those of Fourier, Proudhon, etc. – arising to confront it because it is itself only a special, one-sided realisation of the socialist principle."

The client-ruler system was redone, thus removing a large portion of the script and speeding up the game when compared to v1.1.
