    well I was broken crescent historian for (Abbasids,Ayyubids,Oman). I can help with any middle eastern faction as a researcher including the Ghassanids & Lakhmids... I could gave alot and alot of information about the caliphate and help you to build their rosters,Trait &anys, banner and all these stuff... Iam a middle eastern by the way and my 1st language is Arabic so I have a lot of original resources to help with

    The mod end soemwhere in 640AD or 660AD.

    We start in 527AD - that means AoD2 has not a Muslim faction!

    BUT: Our strat-map is prepared for AoD3, and part 3 begins 636AD, at the battle of Yarmouk. That means also that AoD3 will have a Muslimic faction of course.
    In my team is the User Jermagon. And Jermagon is a specialist for the early caliphate. We will integrate native names, a complete new unit-pool and a lot of other stuff.

    But let's finish part 2 first. And I hope this happens somewhere at the end of this year (hopefully).
