    the the path is wrong.
The first path has to be linked with our "normal" BI.exe (in main folder) - and the second path has to be linked with your mod folder "AoD1".
If you click on your short cut, and a normal folder opens with files inside, then the pathing is wrong.

If you right click on your icon (on the desktop) then choose "properties". Then you will find 2 lines of a path. This path is necessary for me. If you can't give me this path I can't help you.

that's of course wrong and can't work. Do you know what this pathing means?
First of all: I hope you made a copy of the BI.exe on your desktop. BI!!! Not RTW

Your path should look like this:
    (the upper path)
    "C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War\RomeTW-BI.exe" -show_err -nm -mod:BI1

This coding means that you use the BI.exe and the mod is located in the mod-folder BI1
-show_err = if the game crash you get a failure message
    -nm = no intro movie

The second path should look like this:
    "C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War"

Then the BI folder wasn't/isn't clean. Those message are typically if the database is mixed with other files.
The mod is working for sure.

True. My version was working immediately. No problems.
But I also used the normal installation as described in the download thread.

I think you should duplicate your complete Rome - TW folder. I saw AoD1 overwrites also the normal Data folder from RTW.
A mistake - often made by older mod-projects. (this needs to much space on harddrive)
My harddrive is very big, for me it is no problem to have 5 or 6 versions of RTW.

However, AoD2 is mod-foldered as all new mods. So in the future it is more easy to install.

if you don't copied anything into the original BI-folder then you shouldn't have any problems with other mods.
