Pirates of the Caribbean - Total War

I've been thinking of this for days now and at first I thought it was ridiculous then after a while I now think this would be great. its just an idea for now though.

Factions:
East India Trading Company
Port Royal
Pirates of Tortuga
Davey Jones
The Black Pearl
Pirates of the South China seas
Natives? (need name)

It isn't to far fetched its a pretty similar period to ETW. Davey Jones will be the hardest.

Basicly its just skinning, mapping and some models.

If you want to help make this possible then I need:
Skinners/Modelers
Map Artist
Researchers (who can give lots of pics and info on POTC.)
Concept Artists

What I can do:
Skinner/Modeler
Researcher
2d Artist (not concept)

I need others to join even more as I am busy with other mods.

I think this would be a tricky one, but plausable. Still I wouldn't get my hopes up as no one really knows the limitations to Empire: total war yet. Frankly I think the very need for a capital city would ruin it since jones or jack could we wiped out because of a land battle. Also I don't think it would be very popular as it focuses on a very select fan base.

Just an idea, a solution could be to have them like a horde kinda. First of all make the ships stronger and faster than regulars but then make them like generals where they can hire merc ships. And say if they sack a port then they just plunder it and don't really capture since that would be wierd.

Hi. This is a bit like the idea i had of late. (Buccaneer Empires) I've been doing research. My idea is to add just one new (or two) faction group.. which are British or French pirates. They will set up base in Belize City, and will try and carve out an empire in the Caribbean. which includes the coast of south america, yucatan mexico, and the carib islands. I cant see any need to do any new maps, as they are already providing a full map of the Caribbean.
I want to help.. join or form a team. I want to wait for Empire, but i am doing some investigation with Med2. I'v done a lot of modding on my RPG, but not TW as yet.
The pirate mod is one of the best ideas as yet i think.
p.s also my idea is simply replace an existing faction with the pirate faction, alter the skins, the flag being the black and white skull and bones.

The map focuses on the carribean with all the islands and the factions are the english, french, america, dutch, pirates and the rebels just a thought and the way to win is total domination.

Pirates
Pirates of the South China seas

England controls Port Royale and many other settlements near it.

I think the factions should be:

England

East India Trade Company

Pirate Code Alliance (That would be all the pirates who fight in Pirates of the Caribbean 3 against Davy Jones and the East India Trade Company, this would include Jack, Will, Elizabeth, Etc.)

Natives (Don't know the name)

Rebels (This should be Davy Jones, just because everyone hates him)
