    Default Last effective British monarch?

Who was the last British monarch to truly hold power?(not figure head status). Who where the first Prime ministers to be effectively more powerful than the King or Queen?

I'm no expert but after George III and George IV (both were idiots in different ways, btw)??
Sometimes both sides are wrong. Unfortunately most people do not understand this and argue endlessly.

Victoria had no power, her Prime Ministers, such as Gladstone and Disraeli had full control.

Robert Walpole is generally seen as the first Prime Minister

EDIT: By the time William III came to power, Parliament had overthrown two of the last three kings. CHarles I was the last king who could completly ignore Parliament

Charles I. After his execution, Parliament took effective control of the country. By 1750 the monarch had little real power and only acted as a figurehead to carry out Parliament's policies.
