We have the Content Writer badge. Most of the people who work as these, do jobs/work in the Art Department. Most members, don't know who we are, seeing as the term Writer doesn't give away many clues.

Artifex, Opifex and Civitate are all ranks awarded to a member for a certain reason. Artifex and Opifex are both awarded for contribution in the modding fields. The Civitate rank is awarded for contribution in debating.

Yes, you may say that Artical writers and such should have more recognition, but doesn't Content Writer fit that criteria?

Could it be possible for us art staff to have a badge of recognition?

It does indeed fit that criteria. Creating another badge just for graphic making would be meaningless.

The Artifex and Opifex badges, are for modding contributions, or generally contributions to the TW side of the community. That is a much larger and varied category than graphic making, and therefore merits a different badge, so comparing this to graphic making is false in my opinion.

Generally, as you said, I believe that graphic making falls within the Content Staff category, so a Content Staff badge is perfectly appropriate.

Guy, wasn't it mentioned when we entered Content Staff that there used to be an art dep. whithin that forum and it might be started back up again?

Perhaps this should be moved to the Content Staff forum and somebody can enlighten us.
