    hello, the Version 5.5.19 is invalid or something...is it because of my computer or not i don't know....

    You can see the readme here.

    The major changes are:

    -Converted Carthage Rebels to Eastern Kingdoms
    -Revised AI starting conditions

    I've been playing with the Alex exe and I like it a lot so far. I do miss having shieldwall and hordes, but the improved AI and lack of bugs make it worthwhile.

    I've also been playing with loyalty off. It's a nice feature, but the settlement capture bug is a real pain - it always seems to hit after the most epic battles. Until the civil war scripts get done I just don't think it's worth the hassle.

    how do i uninstall the previous xgm? just delete the folder?

    EDIT: and why does it say 5.5.19 when i try to download?

    I usually just install right on top of the old one, haven't had a problem yet.

    Hey DBH, I just downloaded the 5.6.2 update but it downloaded with the title 5.5.19, just like Mediteran.
    Will install anyway .

    The link should be good now.

    Mediteran: Any previous version is deleted automatically when you run the installer.

    Cymera: I wouldn't recommend using saves from any version before 5.6.0 (even if they work at first they are likely to be unstable).

    DBH,
    I was wondering whether you are going to include Suppanut's ethnic traits in 5.6.x. I think it could add a lot to XGM.

    I could help if you like; I can edit most text files. I already edited my 5.6.1 to have the correct traits for most starting family members.

    Adding Suppanuts ethnic traits would be great, its adds so much to the game. Its like RTR's hereditary traits and such, they improve family trees by a boatload.

    okay, is it me??? or a lot of the questions that used to be posted here for discussion are now being posted in numerous single threads????:hmmm:

    Can someone confirm if an assasin of your own faction could always kill a spy from your own faction? or is this new, as i have just discovered by offing 2 of my spies i had in enemy cities...can a family member be killed off?

    Also, i remember in vanilla that sometimes after a great battle there used to be " A man of the hour" were a regular soldier would be promoted to captain...why was this feature taken away???
