HOW TO not get REKT

Holy . GREAT MOD!!!!

I play with alex.exe on H/H as the Romans. It's the best mod ever. But I keep getting rekt.


1/2 turns in, The rebel romans take one of my southern cities. Cool.
Pyruss is unbeatable in the begining, which is cool, he takes the other southern city.

So I lose 2 cities which is fine, I'll get them back (what I thought)

But then those ing Gauls attack my nothern cities. Kill my last generals and it's game over. Within 10 turns.

Anyone got any tips on how to survive and at least see marian reforms??

You need to create an army probably, near Rome and bring them all in. You need to crush some of them in a decisive battle one way or the other.

Yeah that was just the first try at the mod. i finished both now

Anyway, the ability to hire mercenarys whom can form a phalax has been removed???
