That's what the "prod" action is. If you type:

    Prod: Tropical_Coke

Jubal will pm them. They then have a certain time to respond or be removed from the game.

"When did you know you were a lesbian?" "Easy, when I started to lick her box."

Hey I'm here. Sorry for the lurking.

And why is pra taking such an interest? Maybe it's because he is the MAFIA MEMBER! :hmmm:

Isn't that an interesting suggestion. Whaddaya have to say about his selection of Mim?

Mostly because I know you, Mimi, and myself to the best players of mafia (in so far). From that experience I'd like to hear him contribute something. It may be slightly unfair, but I'm just going from my past experiences, and trying to force some sort of discussion.

I suppose the first vote is gonna be a random guess, however, I would like to make this statement.

These have been the most active members therefore, my suspicions are immediately removed from them. Why, out of seventeen people, are there only a handful of people posting? I'm guessing some of the townie lurkers are just scared of being randomly picked since all of them can't be mafia. Silence makes it more likely we'll lynch a townie out of misplaced suspicion. Even if you only have time to say, Hi, say something.

It's very interesting you'd say that, as a typical Mafia characteristic is to throw suspicion on discussion. I remember in the first mafia game ever played, Pannonian started it off by trying to create discussion, and I believe Fuzz cast suspicion on him for discussing.

This kind of tell is more common in beginner mafia players, and I'm not sure how much you've played, but you've displayed two key characteristics of a mafiascum.

1.) lurking (this is given how quickly you responded to DG's prod post stating you were active. It's a pretty dead giveaway to a lurking player.) Lurking definitely benefits mafia a lot and hurts townies in general.

2.) casting suspicion on discussion. This is extremely scummy as only the mafia party have something to gain from stifling discussion.

Lastly, you can view any of the other mafia games in this subforum and see that I am usually an extremely vocal player.

I definitely agree with you on most of those points. The only thing that everyone should look out for is that the more experienced players such as DG, Mimi, and I (as these are the only players I've played with frequently) are able to hide their scummyness by being vocal. Mimi did a very good job of it in the Penguin II mafia game we played : http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...121641&page=41 .

Also, both DG and I have been able to play the townie role and nearly win mafia games as scum. As in the Dwarven Fortress Mafia: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=113865

DG and I were both scum (different kinds) and survived to the end.

So with that said, I think it's better to look for the obvious scummy signs in the first round, but we should definitely look out for the less obvious tells in later rounds.

I think that were also here to have fun, and having a chat is fun, isn´t it? While lurking might (or might not) be a sound strategy, I´d think it´s boring....

Again, promising to be more active later (something scottishranger has also failed to do). You read all we've said so far, take the time to bookmark the thread and say you'll be posting later. But again you contribute absolutely nothing. What are you afraid to say?

    Unvote: Tropical_Coke

Xavier you are now my prime suspect for my first vote. You better start participating instead of dodging and lurking.

Just a techincality, I actually did win the game. You died in the last night trying to kill Arakorn and since he was town and I was scum on the last day our votes tied and we both "won" the game.

    haha jk

I want to see what Tropical Coke has to say, he's behaved the most scummy for me, when push comes to shove on deadline day, if he cannot remove my suspicion of him, he's my first vote.

I too would like to see his response to you. I'm also eagerly awaiting Xavier's non-response (at least I expect a non-response).

Still many others not participating. I'd like to say I'm surprised but it seems to be the usual with mafia games here.

Two? Wow, why so few? I only played one mafia game before this one and it was like a 50/50 split.
