After viewing this thread I see that zombie smuggler has been the most vocal. Along with DG.

the players who I know well and have played with before are DG, Mimi, and scottishranger.

DG and Mimi are more vocal, and scottishranger tends to keep quiet and to himself a lot. I also tend to be more of a vocal player.

OK, so let me introduce myself. Hi, I am Pra and I'd like to start discussion going for the game so that it doesn't dose off like the last one.

    So if you
Stumbled on a watch I'd assume it had a watchmaker,
That a muffin presupposes a baker,
So you must agree sooner or later,
That this proves that there's a creator.
So if I put my foot in a stinker,
You'd assume the existence of a sphincter,
Thus you don't need to be a great thinker

So it begins. I'm with Pra, lets hope things go well. The last game I was in the first day lasted... what like a month? So thank god for week long days. And what better way to start things off but with a vote.

    Vote:
    Tropical Coke

Why? Because I like the idea of a tropical fruit flavoured coke beverage.

    Oh! thats a spicy meatball!

Hmm. Be careful of the meatballs.

FoS on DG, I'm looking to see any bandwaggoning at this point.

surely not? i would quit before waiting that long :hmmm:

though seeing as we have a full week (i'm not used to that much time) i'll have
the chance to decide on my vote carefully...

Yea, in some of my old games we just waited for a majority vote to end the day, took YEARS.

Literally, some games ran for 6-7 months.

....I´m not sure if week long days are really productive. It seems to be a bit too much time, we´re quite a few people but that will change...

Also as I haven´t played mafia via forum, how can we ensure that nobody cheats? Ethics?

If I know some of the other players as well as I'd like to think I do. We need the week to at least get them involved. a couple days and some people may just not participate at all. So shortening the day would have adverse effects on game participation and discussion would plummet as some would feel "out of the game."

If there's 17, that means one side has the advantage. We need to choose wisely. :hmmm:

Well you have to do some random votes in the beginning otherwise the game doesen't get moving.

I think something smells fishy allright. Meatballs is probably the code so the Mafia can recognize eachother.

Typically don't the mafia already KNOW who each other are. Or are you insinuating special knowledge regarding scum roles?
