Map-East to west, From Portugal to the western edge of India, North to south, From St.Petersburg to Mecca?
Basic back story-Protestantism never develops, Catholic Europe threatened by the Ottoman scourge leads to a great arms build up. War breaks out between Austria and the Ottomans which leads the new Zealous Pope to call for a crusade. Thus starts The last holy war.
My skills-I have a background in C++ and am currently taking a Java class, I am teaching myself to use 3Ds max now, and like most people I am pretty good in Photoshop.

1521-Adriaan Florenszoon Boeyens becomes the next Pope.
1521-Teutonic Order accepts an armistice with Poland.
Mid 1500's-A Large Weapons buildup floods Europe for the fear of conflict close by.
1571-Holy League is arranged by Pope Pius V.
1593-War between Austria and the Ottoman Turks breaks out.
1600- After a wave of Religious Awaking Pope Leo XI Calls For the first crusade in 325 years.
1600-1603- England,France,Teutonic Knights and Spain all hungry for conquest prepare to send the armies to capture the holy land for Christianity(Deus Vult!).

If we play in the XVIIth century, you can delete the Teutonic Order, or add them in non-playable faction. At this time they played no role, and we didn't hear no more about them.

Its loosely based on fact and some fiction, although I will look threw it.

Kinda, but the time line will develop differently, there will be many different late game units mostly religious units.
