Thank you, Finn,Tone, Legio and Sunbird, I think I am getting it right at last, Although its hard to be fully satisfied Always wanting to adjust a little here and there, Terrible habit! Sunbird, The Alps are bulky when you are on the battlefield, The map just does not show that aspect very well. regards, all mags

Just thought I would let you all know. A chap called Pyrrhus has dropped in to say hello to the Romans. He arrives in 280 BC with a few friends and introduces himself. The Team thought it would liven up matters for the player as the campaign gets under way. A little tweaking needed yet, The AI does its level best to cheat and kill him at the start, But mags is wise to its ways.

Pyrrus is going to be a rebel faction member I thought though? He looks like part of a larger Greek faction on the screenshot, anyway, looks like he will cause some big problems...

Hi Fabricus, I tried him as a reb, But could not get what I wanted, So he is a high ranking member of the Greeks, Able to recruit merc,s, repair damaged units, receive reinforcements from the Greek cities and cause mayhem.
Thank you everyone for liking what I am doing so far, you are very kind Lets hope we get the whole 500 year campaign to a very high standard. Mags has lots of little plans in his head to keep you from getting bored , maybe a little terror and nervous collapse.
Haer I have another file to send you, It needs to be added, to get Pyrrhus.

    pyrrhus works ok for me

i've made some tests of latest units i've fixed the shield issue (some of republican scutum shields were too close to the body) and it's ok for me now . i will send you some files too
here below you will find some battlescreens i've made with cornelii faction. i've tried to use our belowed roman infantry as a blunt and brutal tool. i've decided to challenge hellenic phalanxes in a city siege. i wanted to try, if i'm able to drop the tactics completely and simply smash through them with huge mass of infantry. i suffered terrible losses and gateway was falling to the hands of legions or hellenes gharge after gharge, but finally legionaries witht heir iron discipline earned their chevrons and ripped phalanxes, encircled them and finished off every single troop.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

new model bases are working excellent. colors are vivid and scenics are cooperating fine with what happens on the battlefield. on the screens you can see the changes of colours and the temperature of light

    regards

Excellent screens haer, I take it you assaulted Rhegium with your cornelii, Good hard Reb garrison, Always put up a good fight . That gate was like a yo yo, 7 times changed hands, I love that hard combat. You experienced some fog/mist and rain, Its great to see someone else posting screens with the new lighting effects and scenic texture,s colours showing Gives me confidence that things are beginning to work out well Good job with the animation adjustment, looking forward to those files.thanks haer.

Hi Sunbird, I am still refining new formations ai for our Hellene,s, nearly there. Then I have a ton of script changes to make from our team conference of the other day. So I shall be busy.

Also a big thanks to Salvo and friends for your support it means alot.
