Fallout 3 on PS3

Hey, I just bought a PS3 so I'm a n00b with the whole deal. So here is my question. My laptop is a gaming rig (Dell M1730) and if I understand correctly , it will handle the game just shy of the recommended specs. Now if I buy Fallout 3 on PS3, it's going to run a lot better right? Because it's optimized for the console so it's gonna run as good as it gets, right? I have a 1080P 46" Samsung BTW if it helps assessing my question.
So, should I go PC or PS3 for the game peeps?

Honestly you'd get more for your money if you go PC because later on there should be mods for the game which will give you more to do.

If you are able to nearly reach reccomended specs, get the pc version. The game runs well, though I might warn you away because there are a few really obvious bugs that need some patching. The PS3 is supposed to be buggy as well, and we all know it is a lot easier to fix those on computer games.

I have the PS3 version because I don't have a good computer at the moment.
Its a great game but it has no AA. The game is filled with jagged edges.

Really? All I've played is the PS3 version and I haven't noticed at all.

? Are you sure? The ps3 version is filled with jagged edges on my HD tv playing on 720p! Even gamespot said it has AA problems!

This is a video extract from the gamespot review and everything the guy said about washed out lighting, bugs and AA is what I have experienced on the PS3 version. But its still an awesome game.

i heard the ps3 version is very inferior to the other two versions (graphic-wise)

Go for PC, otherwise you can only get the official mods, which you'll probably have to buy.
