    OKay guys here´s an update:
    1st preview- 90% done (this involves multi-media work, so it´s taking time)
    2nd preview- 50% done
    Tech tree -50-75% done
    Campaign script- 50-75% done
    Unit list preparation- 99% done
    Map 50%+ done

    Victory conditions

    Like many a mod these days our victory conditions will be completely reviewed, adding complex dimensions to the single player mode as he tries to prevent other factions reaching their goals whilst seeking to attain his.
    Re-emergent factions are only nessecary when the AI destroys them, not when the player does so. when I destroy HRE, I do so because I want to, if I wanted them to survive I wouldn't attack them. the problem with historical accuracy is the -yes, here we go again- balance between gameplay and accuracy. when playing TW, I don't want to recreate my factions history, I want to fight and conquer, to forge an empire. what would be a nice feature, and "historical" as well, is that when you conquer for exaple constantinople, the greek culture influences yours, and you are able to train byzantine archers, or build bathhouses. but, because you would then have the ultimate faction at the end, you could do it on a smaller scale, by for example having more experienced archers after conquering england.

    I don't know what kind of victory conditions you are thinking of , but if you want them to be historical, they would have to be something like "hold your 3 starting provinces until the 16th century" or, "wait for the HRE destroy you in 1254"
    I hope it is obvious that such conditions would only be boring.

    anyway, control points, rivers: great ideas! I really like the mod, I just wanted to point these things out.

    Yes but emerged factions can show a massive rebellion or invation perfectly..
    For our mod emerge factions will present history accuratly!

    So read a lot before you play it!

    I've played Stainless Steel mod and it has a good combat system compare to the original version of Medieval 2 or Kingdoms( except they make 2-handers units weaklings). So I'd like to know whether this mod will have a better combat system than Stainless Steel. If not, you guys can ask the SS team, i think they will be willing to share.
