    Default The Battles of Jena and Auerstedt: A TW based Documentary


    Fellow TWC'ers. The following documentary was created by Lord Chretzel some two years ago with the support of professors and fellow peers using a rendition of a TW modification some of you may well know (NTW2). It depicts the battles of Jena-Auerstedt in 1806, a year when history was said to end and a little known Corsican officer become king of all Europe.

    The film itself was done as a free project by Lord Chretzel, a TW modder!, and runs some 41 minutes long. (Those of you who have but a moment to spare may watch the trailer.) Please take the time to enjoy the following documentary as it may change the minds of those doubtful of the upcoming TW game and bring inspiration to those who have studied this period for many a year.

    Wow, I didn't know you could do that with Rome Total War. Beautiful, and (I assume) accurate. That's one of the best documentaties I've seen.

    The most daunting and awesome project I have ever seen. Wow.. Really. Wow. This is really the stuff of the future. I can not imagine how long this project took and the sweat and toil that went into it. Personally, I've never seen anything quite like it. Never. I'm speechless, one of the best things I've ever seen.

    I'll come back and try to offer abit more than these stumbling phrases but before everyone says anything else I just want to lift my hat for you sir. A really admirable piece of research, animation, rendering. I seriously think the historic community owes you for this contribution.

    I agree let the history channel or any other history channel take a look at this and you might be in for a contract to do more for them just a suggestion
