Even if that were true it doesn't make any difference: the clearly started mixing at some point or we'd still have pockets of Normans and Saxons and Celts today.

I'm not sure on the exact percentages, but on my mom's side, her father (my grandfather), is a mix of pretty much all the ethnicities around the point where Austria, the Czech Republic, and Germany meet. So a mix of, in order from greatest to least, Czech, Bohemian, German, and Austrian. That's what I'm pretty sure of, anyways. Then my Grandmother is also mostly that, but just a few generations before her she had family that was full blooded Italian.

I don't anything on my father's side, but I'm petty sure they're the same as my Grandfather on my mom's side, just more Czech.

I'm about purely British Isle-er, though considering the large amount of English, it's likely there could be some trace amounts of Latin, Scandinavian, Sarmatian etc.

However, my dad's side of the family is Albanian in origin (Arvanite), who moved to Greece back in the 1400s.

im english with german ancestry(dads mum side) from the famous sword makers of shotley bridge(they moved to england in 1600's), they were from Sholingen in germany. (Ohlig/Oley family) and on my mums side my great nan was irish(dublin). and also again on my dads side, i have french ancestry(family name Nazer) and my investigation continues to get interesting

so to sum up so far im a mix of english/german/irish/french blood

Indeed, to an extent anyway. And nowhere in their cultural or genetic line did they come over to Britain or have any major influence on its genetic stock or culture.

I'm not very sure about my ethnicity exactly. I'm mostly Scottish as far as I know. On my dads side, his second name is Preston (an English town), which suggests some kind of Englishness from somewhere, maybe. My mum's parents were both raised as Catholics, which suggests Irish lineage, but the great-grandparents on that side were also all born in Scotland (except one, read on), so it would have to be further back, but it's still very, very possible.

But, my mum's dad doesn't know his father was, and his mother never told him. My grandad is quite mediterranean looking, and my mum is quite similar in complexion and has a rare bone condition that is very prominent somewhere in northern Italy. This leads me and some others in the family to think there might be a bit of Italian thrown into our family too.

So as far as I know, Scottish, with a lashing of Irish, a slight hint of English, and a sneaky suggestion of Italian.

I'm 25% English, 25% from Kentucky, and 50% Swedish.
My fathers mother is from Derbyshire and apparently I have some relatives in England.
My fathers father is from Kentucky and I have cousins in Texas.
My mothers side is all Swedish and what ever.

I seem to be fine though except one of my testicles seem to be a Swedish meatball.
