I ve not a bineditor and I ve searched on the internet, but couldn't find the programme for free.
Could you convert it for me to the bin version? If it takes a lot of time, please don't. I will find another way.

The BinEditor comes with Geomod, see the manual page 10 (Launch BinEditor) on how to use it.
I have converted and attached the file for you nevertheless.
Really thanks for the imperial campaign.bin.
My next problem.
width 510
height 311
This were my old values, so the new values has to be
width 1021
height 623
I ve done this but still got the error message.
Check all the other files as well. Here is a list form my Creating a World - Basic Mapping from scratch tutorial - default means the entry in descr_terrain:
map_regions - default
map_features - default
map_trade_routes - default
map_roughness - twice default
map_heights - twice default plus one pixel
map_fog - twice default plus one pixel
map_ground_types - twice default plus one pixel
map_climates - twice default plus one pixel
water_surface - 256 x 256
In this list of maps you cant read values, so what do jou exactly mean?
Besides when I open the Geomod with RTW you get a message that the programme can't identify a unit, this is not a probleme , because when i click OK the message dissapears, but I got this message for each unit and have to click OK for each unit and this annoys me a little bit.
If your value in descr_terrain is 510*311 then the map file sizes should be as follows:
map_regions - 510*311
map_features - 510*311
map_trade_routes - 510*311
map_roughness - twice 510*311 = 1020*622
map_heights - twice 510*311 plus one pixel = 1021*623
map_fog - twice 510*311 plus one pixel = 1021*623
map_ground_types - twice 510*311 plus one pixel = 1021*623
map_climates - twice 510*311 plus one pixel = 1021*623
water_surface - 256 x 256
Identify a unit = have you added the EDU and the export_unit.string.bin from your mod?
And if the values are not so, because for example the size of my map_regiones is 464 kb and map_roughness is 24.3 kb.
Where have I added the EDU and the export_unit.string.bin?
The file size is not important, it is the dimensions of the graphics that has to match the list.
Explanation: Pictures with few colors have a low file size (map_trade_routes) pictures with a lot of colors have a big file size (map_regions) but their graphic size is the same.
Where can I check the graphic size? And what if it dont match? What do I have to do then?
You open it with a graphic editor like The GIMP. But I would really suggest to read my tutorial Creating a World - Basic Mapping from scratch before you venture further.
In the meantime compress the files in the world\maps\base folder and attach them - I will check the sizes and correct where necessary.
Gigantus really doing my best to understand your manual, English isn't my best schoolsubject.
I'm doing again something wrong. I ve downloaded the GIMP, but I only get some files and pictures not a programme.
To be sure the GIMP is a programme or not? Because when I typ it on youtube I see a programme like paint.
Try this page for GIMP.

There is a download link above the photos in bold print.
@ishiron: Thanks for your link
@ Gigantus: Yeah It opend. Now I m gonna read your manual carefully and edit the map.
Gigantus this time my game doesn't start and I haven't yet change the map.
How can I run my mod?
Everytime I double click on the "Bare Geomod" icon at the desktop, a window opens with the name of "CA_LIBS" saying "Uh oh. This isn't good. No idea why, but exiting now. Sorry pal."
Maybe the problem is Bare Geomod wasn't instaled on the right place, when I go see the directory it was installed, I see "C:\Program Files\MyProduct\Bare_Geomod".
Why didn't it install at the place I installed Medieval II Total War (D:\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\)?
I hope you can help me...
EDIT: I have already read your manual, and i didn't find anything about my problem.
