Default ZOMBIES for SBH - completely off topic

Being almost Halloween and the fact that my install for IB2 has been corrupted and I have to re-install all of my files, I took a break and modified this file for SBH.
I remeber he said he would write an AAR!!
I will post the file soon and how to install it

Now I go back to work before Ramon yells at me . JUst kidding

    The zombies are approaching!!!

Before dusk a host has gathered on the hillside above the sleepy english town

By nightfall the town militia has been called out to observe the approaching crowd

bue these are no ordinary men -- ZOMBIES !!!!

soon the crowd has invaded THE town

    the militia cannot hold them

the last few of the militia make their last stand in the town square

with lunch over, the zombies wait for their next meal

I am glad you like them. It was a quick and dirty texture modification. When I have time, I will improve on them.

here is the file you need. Only one small file
    me_peasant_variant_turks.texture

I am using this file with kingdoms installed. This is the path folder where my file is installed

    Medieval II Total War\mods\Stainless_Steel_6\data\unit_models\_units\me_light_padded\textures

I have the ss6.1 mod installed. I believe the file will still work without kingdoms. I created part of the directory structure in the zip file for you. It will read data\unit_models\_units\me_light_padded\textures

Without kingdoms the dir structure should read
    Medieval II Total War\data\unit_models\_units\me_light_padded\textures

You might only have to unzip the file and copy directly into your main mtwII folder. I will try this out when I get a chance.

The zombies replace the peasant units of the turks.
To uninstall simply delete this file (above) in the unit_models\_units\me_light_padded\textures folder
Remember to save your old file to revert back to the original turk peasants

I hope I made this clear. Good luck

You might want to install the over lay texture files that improve on the blood , dirt and snow textures during battle. I will explain this to you soon. The zombies and units they are fighting will become more bloody as they fight and they are hit.

hahaha, I think I've seen it everything now. This is the beginning for IM (Invasio Mortvorvm), an amazing mod by midnight and unconditionally supported by SBH!

It's not working. I am sure I am messing it up but I've installed into the data-thingy in my MTWII Broken Crescent mod and nothing happens. I tried to install in the main MTWII ganme but it doesn't have a data-thingy file for it to go in

P.S: I really want to install it in the English Civil War mod and feed it into the AAR I am writing. Any chance you could help me with this? I am thinking Witch-Finder General here . . .

I have that mod also. Give me a little time and I believe i can fix it to work with that mod. It will be a simple download of maybe 4 files or less.

Here you go. AAR away. Let me know if there are any problems
make copies of your original files in order to go back to the original mod units
these files replace the militia pikemen on the royalist side

    3 files total

    royalist_militia_pikemen_lod0.mesh
    royalist_militia_pikemen.texture
    and
    faction_banner_denmark

    put royalist_militia_pikemen.texture in the
    Medieval II Total War\for_king_or_country\data\unit_models\_units\royalist\textures folder

    put royalist_militia_pikemen_lod0.mesh in the
    Medieval II Total War\for_king_or_country\data\unit_models\_units\royalist folder

    (optional)
you can keep the regular royalist banner for the undead units or use this new zombie banner

for the zombie banner, put faction_banner_denmark in the
    Medieval II Total War\for_king_or_country\data\banners\textures folder
