Well, Alaric and Theodoric are my real favourites, but since they're not up there, I went with Boudicca. In the end she didn't really accomplish all that much, but her rebellion is still very fascinating, to me, anyway.
Mine would be Antiochus III the Great as he was the greatest Seleucid leader besides Seleucos I Nicator. My second would be Pyrrhus of Epirus. Why wasnt he on the list?
AHHH DAMN!!!!! Phyrrus. *tongue*
Surena, short opposition to rome but trounced them anyways. :whistle
Woulda been Pyrrhus, but picked Spartacus.
I'm Spartacus!
I'll have to be unoriginal and pick Hannibal Barca. A tragic hero if there ever was one, who accomplished many great things before failing. He was all that stood between Rome and global dominance.
Can't believe Julius's arch-nemesis Vercingetorix isn't in the list. Had to go with warrior queen Boudicca.
Arminius.
That he halted the roman war-machine was quite amazing.
Odoaker was not an enemy of Rome (neither was Alarich technically speaking). :getlost

The greatest enemy, honestly?
Octavianus Augustus.
He succeded where everyone else failed,
he destroyed the republic....
Brennus? or Hannibal?
