    Default NTW2 based movie about Jena/Auerstedt

    To celebrate the 202. anniversary of the double battle of Jena and Auerstedt, Lord Chretzel released his documentation explaining this battles.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Jena-Auerstedt

    It runs 40 minutes. Alot historical researchs are done for the movie. Supported by 2 professors. To make it historically correct alot new units and terrains were created. (all prussians are new, 1806 were the old prussian army, NTW2 uses the new reformed prussian units)

    Does anyone know if the 1806 Prussian skins & 1805 French skins will be made available?

    Hey fellas I got a question for you:

    This movie was made on the N2TW engine, which I assume is based on BI 1.6. How did Chretzel get the movie cam to work on this engine? Normally it only renders on RTW v1.2.

    Many thanks for any help,

    Q.

    It could be on RTW 1.5 they have movie cam aswell... to get movie cam you type it in your shortcut... cant remember what it is you type though something like;

    - enable movie_cam

    Yes you can enable the movie cam on all versions but it won't render you smooth movies if you have any other version than 1.2. Anyways I figured out Chretzel used Medieval 2 and not RTW as a basis for this movie.

    Thanks anyways.

    Your not the first person mate, to come to that conclusion, but apparently this was made using RTW and not MTW2, i agree quite surprising considering the quality.
    Take a look at the link below.

    Chretzel used the movie editor to do the scenes and than captured it with a video capturing software. The scenes with the extra animations are done with a 3D computer graphics software.

    This video is the best ever of N2TW. I cannot dream of a better video than this.
