I dont really see them problem. If the Frankish campaign is too easy then list it as being good for beginners. If it's too hard, list it as being for experts.

I think so, I just tried to forcast why Danova want this faction as non playable. I vote for all faction could be playable...

to danova: I just dont understand why set any faction as non playable, if you include this faction in mod/game? That's there only the 1/3 part of a big country? That's problem of "region campaign". But there is another way how this solve, I think. For example higher income for this factions, some special units from other parts of country when you improve all roads. Maybe when you reach high level of whealth you will have to send some money to king and so on.. but this is an adition. only set all factions on the map as palyable is enough.

At the end i would like to say that i dont want tell you what you have to do(its maybe look like), but Im just not too skilled to speak kindly and lowly in english. So thank you for your time and good luck..

It will be like the HRE in the Teutonic campaign they fought the Polish and the Danish with a tiny corner of their empire. Maybe you could put in some events like raiders to balance the gameplay.

In EB they have a building that represents Off map trade. It's buildable in regions that sit on the edge of the map.

personally i think putting unplayable factions is just a waste of that time debating why it shouldnt be if you put then unplayable your trying to get a message across you dont want them to be played however descr_strat tutorial is most peoples best friend lol

Why not make the East Franks an unlockable faction. If they are quite powerful, it would be sort of a prize for "winning" the grand campaign. Win the Grand Campaign and you can play as the East Frankish empire. This means that players have to attempt the game with one of the "weaker" factions first.

Yeah, I saw that you'd been convinced to make them playable, I was just putting the idea out there that maybe playable but they have to be unlocked first.

But if they're playable from the off, it's still ok as people are getting what they want
