Is this a bug???

Hi all

My first post on this forum so I hope you can help...

Been playing Kingdoms Brittania since yesterday, and I've been given two 'Council of Nobles' missions so far.

Both missions were to capture an enemy town and I completed both missions in time.

HOWEVER... As I finish the battle and get back to the World view, the message comes down on the right saying:

"Mission Expired,

Another faction has taken this settlement..."

WTF!!? No they didn't! I just did! EH!???

Is this a known bug? I searched the forums and can't find nuffink about this one.

Anyone got any ideas?

1.5 btw.

First of all Welcome to the board!!!

2- This as never happened to me, must be a bug did this happen to someone one else???

Are you sure it was for you to capture, maybe they asked you to blocade their Port, or even sometimes maybe you have mistaken the name!!! Or I wouldn't be surprise that it is a real bug!!!

Maybe b/c the mission was for you to annex the settlement not capture. In which case you need a diplomat.

Yes you are right Neb... I am a fool. It took me another mission before I noticed that yes, it was a Diplomat mish and not a Military one!

This time I completed the mish by giving those Irish a better town with 500 florins as a sweetener in exchange for the town I wanted.

My reward from the Council... 300 florins :hmmm:
