as im playing them or trying to i find it impossible. its ctd freezes and a number of times switched my faction to the romans and huns meaning i controlled both (ending with a ctd on end turn). whats wrong with? did ppl not give them enough time and effort? i wana play em because im fresion (german tribe that represented by the franks)

.03 with the soundpack revolutions with its hotfix
ahd it put the desc_start into C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War\ibfd\data
if you want me to i can upload my IB data folder

Are you running with the full scripts option. This script has forced diplomacy but seems to be unstable and causes things much like you have described.

One suggestion is to install the 4tpy script instead and see if that works. It is found in the options folder.

Please let us know how you go.

From your ibfd folder: ibfd> options>scripts>4tpy

Hotfix is for enhancement pack 1.Please install SM revolutions,Enhancement pack1,hotfix in order t get it work.And also you have to put the descr_start file in ibfd\data\world\map\campaign\barbarian_invasion folder.(Last step)

I cant remeber the exact file path but if you search the subfolders in world\maps flder you will see the descr_strat file.Overwrite it with the soundmods.
