I put it on 6x speed. Slideshow, and I'm not exaggerating. Seriously.
I can go up to 6000 peoples.
Mine can do 4800... on minimum settings.
That would be on high. But I guess I'll play the mod on small unit sizes. After all I don't wan't to lag against evil.I can go up to 6000 peoples.
my Personal Computer can only go up to 6000 men so it's still playable on max settings ofcourse.
GF8800GTX 768MB, 2 GB RAM, Intel Core 2 Quad (smthing similiar to yours, don't know the exact stats). Slightly overclocked etc.
Resolution: 1680x1024 (If i remember correctly). Musket smoke (XVIIth century mod, so 2/3 army consisted of musketeers).
22-25 fps.
Planning to buy one more GTX.

A question: what sort of siege equipment will Dwarves get that other factions won't?

Fall from Heaven II for CIV4 player,Mount&Blade mods player,
Brave New World 3.2 for AoW:Shadowmagic player...
Fanatic for Call of Warhammer and Third Age:Total War
Cool. But what about catapaults and stuff?
Catapults are available to most (if not all) factions.
But... how will Dwarves versions be better? Because they have to be. They just do.
Longer range? Higher accuracy? More hitpoints? How?
Agree, Dwarves should have a more powerful catapult or trebuchet, but it hasn't been confirmed.
Maybe the BFME (shudder) idea of two rocks flung simultaneously?
That would require a new model and animation. How about simply powering up the trebuchet for the dwarven faction?
Will you give new skins to the dwarven faction trebuchet though? Sort of like late Medieval ebony type reskin
