I believe HeavenGames has some guides the .org and TWC center is lacking.
http://rtw.heavengames.com/rtw/mods/...al/index.shtml is a good modelling one for beginners.
There is a tutorials section there I believe.

Updated this with 3-4 new items and also did some updating on 2-3 old tutorials that needed it.

I saw you have listed "Name Generator", but the dl-file is not available (i think it was the one created by batu, which is largely overseen by the modding community, unfortunately).

General description:
- This small and easy to handle tool generates a bug free names.txt file for RTW/BI or M2TW/Kgdms.
- It was created in 8/2008 by batu (with my help), and works fool-proved... ie. applied for ChivTW's names file (and other mods).
- All name related perhaps-bugs will be removed if you apply this tool.
P.S. I saw recently, that another name-generator tool is updated and offered, however, modders might try out both to check-out which one fits better for their goals.

Years ago I(and others too) had poor experience with it on RTW v1.5 saved games. From what people said it worked well with rtw v1.2, but it messed the year date (and something else that I don`t recall exactly) for rtw v1.5.
EDIT: and I only now realize the post was a couple months old..
