Thread: A novice at play (Photographs)

Default A novice at play (Photographs)

I have been photographing for fun for quite some time now, never "professionally" as some people do. Haven't had access to good cameras, but hey, does the camera have to be good for the picture to be good?
Not in my opinion... but enough about that, enjoy!
    All feedback is very welcome!

I'll start of with these four.

No, it doesn`t. Your pictures look very professional. First one is my favourite. Some kind of road(?) disappearing into grey water, cloudy sky, far away horizon- it all look very melancholic. Second (unusual angle) and third are good too. Fourth could be better (I think) if it was shot from different angle (without sun in the middle of picture). Anyway, like I said, they are great!

    :hmmm:
God Im not even going to imagine how thats pronounced!

Great stuff! I like the first one and dark sun, your stuff looks REALLY proffesione! If you were to do some touchups with focus lighting and whatnot (you can do that with Piscasa, free just google it) You could start selling that !
If yer going to leave some rep be sure to leave your name so I can return the favor

Says the man in the Vatican, It belongs to God. No! Says the Man in Moscow, It belongs to everyone. I rejected those answers, instead I choose something different... I chose the impossible... I choose.... Rapture. A city where the artist would not fear the censor, where the scientist would not be bound by petty moralities, where the great would not be constrained by the small. And with the sweat of your brow, Rapture can become your city as well..."

Great composition in these pictures, you should consider saving up for a camera with more potential. What camera do you use?

I love the first one. Are you on DA?

Thanks, maybe I'll try to save some money for a camera... for I don't actually have one. All of the pics (exept the dog) are taken with "not-that-special" digital cameras, the dog one is taken with Olympus (can't rembemer which though).

And yup I'm on DA, all the pics are hosted there.

The first one is very good, and so is the one with the mountains in the back. Are you part of a guild of club?

I'm guessing that you mean "guild or club" but no, just as the title states... then I'm just a novice at play

    And thanks
