    thanx so much. textures are looking good with lighting settings proposed by Magpie i think we are on a good track with colours, shadows, reflections and intensity
    that shield will be changed a bit, but don't worry, i'll keep the original image

    @ Mathais

    hamsha is gathering more knowledge about germanic tribes. on our university there is one profesor very interested in germanic tribes. i hope we won't disapoint you

    it will grow and grow, but slowly. we are plnning to change everything that is aviable to be changed. terrains, units, mounts, vegetations, buldings, lighting, shaders, skies, animations, interface, loadingscreens... everyting

    as you've noticed i feel much better. i always feel worse when i must rip through the descr_. files .

    @ magpie

    as you've guessed lady hamsha will do most of them (i'll add only few). they will be made as shown on the first page. i thought they could show more units, but that's still to be discussed.

    i am trying to set new roman units (without numbered and named legions yet). it will take some time. some of them need to be corrected (animation bugs) and few alpha tweaks removed/included. when it will be done, ill send you complete files with new units

    It looks different with new lighting and textures ect Prince, gives the illusion so to speak of course new buildings are planned.

    thank you Legio. unfortunately i was in hurry so i couldn't add more screens. i'm going to go hard in making skeletal AoR and DMB through next few days so i'll be present rather rarely here

    hamsha has much influence on their apearance. now all 4 roman factions will have them diferent (but "mounted" on a single model). julii will have one with the pectorial on their chests. the same goes with claudii. cornelii will have one with badger skin on their heads and the senate will have the ones with the wolf skin. also shield designs will be diferent (including sizes and shapes).
    after weekend i should be able to show more...

    by the way Ferres (gods bless the day he was born) gave us oficial premission to use his famous legions. as you probably suspect i'll use many of his hard work, but i'll try to keep them lighter in details and make them closer to RotN Team vision of certain things

    i admit that i am really try to follow his abilities, but now our life will be much easier . as i am too lazy to make such detailed units as he does (and not so capable) i'll just borrow some stuff

    don't worry. as you probably know hamsha has decisive voice about units apearance in case of rome and greek factions just as pirates_say_aargh with the carthaginians, so you'll have something bit diferent

    while i'll have some experiments with the modfolder and it's content, hamsha will have few sleepless nights to introduce you our legions. i've just finished making multiunit models fo legionaires. their apearance will change in major not only with textures, so you'll may able to see how roman helmet evolved .
