'rep' (also known as '+rep') is the act of giving reputation points to a fellow forum member. You cannot rep yourself, only others. Your amount of rep points is shown below your post count, in the form of rings and crowns.
You can rep someone when you have a certain amount of posts, I think it's 50 but it could be less.
