Amon Amarth is my favorite band and I saw them live on October 1st and shook the lead singer's hand.

95% of their songs are about Norse mythology. They're a really epic band.

Yeah, that's true about Amon Amarth. They sing exclusively about Norse culture. However, they don't use any traditional instruments in their songs.

Just saw them live, greatest show of my life! There were a bunch of kids up in the front of the line before the show wearing the horned-type helmets and everyone yelled at them until they took them off and got rid of them. Most AA fans know they're Vikings!

I saw them live on Oct 6th here in Vancouver man. Along w/ Ensiferum, Belphagore, and i cant remember the other one

If any of you want like a Norse folk or at least Pagan Folk metal music I suggest Heidevolk they're a Dutch band but it's really good.

Het Gelders Volkslied (Rouphly translates to Gelders Anthem my Dutch isnt the best...)
