Ive been playing this mod since version 2 like over a year back and im noticing a similar problem that's present in all the versions and that's a world full of rebel states. Im in turn 110 of my byzantine campaign in the late era and there seems to be a lot of faction scuffling in italy and central europe and directly around the holy land but everything else sort of dwindles away into a sea of gray when looking at the map with FOW off. about 60% of the world is rebels and most of the cities have full stack armies due to the rebel add money function. Is there something you guys added to the AI that no one else did because most other mods seem to have more effective AI when it comes to capturing rebel cities. Its a little strange having all these factions fight each other for land when theres boundless amounts of it out for grabs without needing to goto war.

Well, on the one hand you could say this is actually more realistic as even in the hieght of monarchigal (sp?) power the king hardly directly controlled most of their lands and only controlled their own fiefs with alligned lords acting independently most of the time. However, I can see a point to this technicallity to not be as Apparent in a game such as this

Here is the price of freedom: Your every drop of courage, ounce of pain, pint of blood,...paid in advance.

Yeah at least the independent lords would fight each other, not band together in a massive rebel onslaught...
