Can't yet find an accurate map of scotland in the 1300's, but as far as the rulers, generals and army goes, this is what I have found.

In the year 1300, Scotland was not ruled by a king but by a guardianship of nobles, the chief noble being John "Red" Comyn but joined in office by Robert Bruce. In 1306 Robert killed John and crowned himself king of scots at Scone. By his death in 1329, Robery had a married sister, Marjorie, who was married to Walter FitzAlan, High steward of Scotland. Robert himself had an infant son named David.
Also alive in 1300 were William Wallace and Andrew de Moray.

As far as the military force goes, Gallowglass mercenaries were used extensivly. After the Auld Alliance with France, feudalism played a much larger part of the military, slowly replacing the gaelic side. Perhaps have several gaelic units in the early period, such as highlanders armed with claymores, peasants with axes, spearmen and then a couple of feudal units so dismounted knights with basic mail, swords and shields. As far as cavalry goes, then some light scouts and a unit of feudal, armed in mail.

For the next period perhaps remove some of the weaker gaelic units, perhaps replace highlanders with claymores for men in main with the same weapon.

For the later periods incorperate french style units with a scottish twist, and perhaps introduce men armed with basket hilted swords and targes.

Would just like to add, tartan was extremely uncommon at this time, the main period of the clans came later iirc. I may be wrong, but all i am saying is, don't stereotyoe us! Braveheart is not a historical source.
A new mobile phone tower went up in a town in the USA, and the local newspaper asked a number of people what they thought of it. Some said they noticed their cellphone reception was better. Some said they noticed the tower was affecting their health.

A local administrator was asked to comment. He nodded sagely, and said simply: "Wow. And think about how much more pronounced these effects will be once the tower is actually operational."

I've never seen a slinger like that before, do you want me to add it to the list?

Some nice proposals there. Its quite a lot of units though, and a lot of them are perhaps too similar to include as stand alone units, so perhaps some of them might just be armour upgrades.

We will try and include your suggestions though, +rep for the time spent
