RM2 Startup issues

Hello all,

When I launch RM2 the program makes it to the Activision/Creative Assembly splash screen and then CTDs. Well I say CTD, but it doesn't crash so much as it just shuts down. I'm running RTW1.5, RM2 beta with hotfix 8 and I've installed the sprites addon.

Thank you in advance, can't wait play this mod because M2TW runs like a on my laptop.

Hi friend,
it seems that you didn't create shortcut for RM well,follow this steps one by one:

1.Creat a shortcut of your RomeTW.exe.

2.Right click on the shortcut and select properties.

3.Change the Target of shortcut to the following:
"D:\GAMES\Rome - Total War\RomeTW.exe" -mod:RomeMedievalMOD -nm -show_err
Change the Start in of shortcut to the following:
D:\GAMES\Rome - Total War\

Note:the green words may be different in your computer.

Then, you are good to go
