Polak told you - there was an idea about it even before the release of M2TW (I think), but it quickly failed and died. As far as I know, they didn't leave any finished work (besides research, of course), which could be inherited by other mods, so if they start making it again, they'd have to start from scratch. And given the competition of the other existing mods and supermods (DotS for example), I think it's rather unlikely MTR will be revived...
MTR (Age of Ambition) was a very promising mod that seamed glorius but it is dead over a year now!
Many great modelers,moders and researchers started their "career" in that project that died too early!
I was a fanatic fan of that project and it was the main reason that i started to post here or in the .org site!
TGC in order to continue its development seak one or more desicated scripters to put our campaign scripts mess to an order plus to create new events and create the finall missing factions recruitment system. In return TGC will give permision to those that will help to use its material stepe by step. The result will be a fully released TGC plus many mods that will benefit TGC's material.
Despite the mod is dead does not mean that anyone can use its material
read this to avoid misunderstandings.
