TEAM LEAGUE
This is the place to sign-up to the Team league, and also to track the progress of your favourite team.
Anyone wishing to join, you must post your online name, xfire name, timezone, Team Name and Team Members name. You may also post required information and request a teammate here, so you can find someone close to your timezone.
Rules
The factions have been split into categories, and both members of the same team are not allowed to have factions from the same category. The categories are:
Romans- Julii, Brutii, Scipii, S.P.Q.R
Hellenic- Greek City States, Macedon, Carthage, Thrace
Chariots- Egypt, Seleucid, Brittannia, Pontus
Barbarian- Gaul, Dacia, Germania, Spain
Eastern- Scythia, Armenia, Parthia, Numidia
10k each player per category apart from Barbarians who get 12k.
Unit Restrictions for each faction are
Romans: Max 8 infantry max 4 cavalry max 4 archers
Hellenics: Max 10 infantry max 3 cavalry max 4 archers
Easterns: Max 5 infantry max 6 cavalry max 6 archers
Chariots: Max 8 infantry max 4 cavalry max 4 archers
Barbarians: No maximum infantry max 5 cavalry max 4 archers
No elephants or artillery allowed
All battles fought on Grassy Flats. Host must pick faction first, then both members of other team pick their factions, then finally hosts ally picks. Corner/Redline camping is banned.
Each person can only enter within ONE TEAM!
Once you have picked a faction, you are not allowed to change to another faction until the next battle.
Laggers are losers, unless both teams agree to rehost. If you choose to rehost, all players must take same factions as in "lagged" battle. Also, allow 30 seconds to see if game resumes before exiting.
ANYONE WHO BREAKS THESE RULES WILL HAVE THEIR TEAM DISQUALIFIED FROM THE LEAGUE
Scoring System
If the battle "lagged", post a screenie of the "Game Halted" screen to collect the points.
A win gets 2 points, regardless of what type of win unless heroic
A heroic gets 3 points, one being a bonus point for a convincing win
In close victories, the loser gets 1 bonus point
Barbarian Factions get 2 bonus points for heroic, but all other points awarded are the same.
If at the end there is a points tie, the winner will be whoever has the most bonus points throughout the season. If this still leaves a tie, both teams will play each other for the overall victory of the league!
