I loved TheTrueGreek's one. I wish my computer would let me take off banners, and then I'd be able to have shots like that for my AAR...

i don't have banners off, i just zoomed in on replay mode for epic mass knights fighting and happened to see these 2 get seperated from the rest of the battle. thank you though

Do you have vista? Sometimes the problem is the UAC (user account control) that comes with vista and for some reason it doesn't allow the modifictions in the preferences text to work.

You just have to turn it off and problem solved .

I have Vista, and have tried various things many times, on administrator accounts and everything. I can't get them off for either SS or Vanilla.

It's either Vista, or the Regions and Provinces Mod, cos I think they overwrite something on the banners (they say something about changing the ) to 1 to stop a bug). Also, banners where 'off' when I went to edit it. Also, I can't uninstall regions and provinces mod.

EDITR: I think the best thing would be for me to get a banner mini mod for SS (you know, the ones where the people hold the banners)

Well I'd say try disabling the UAC, and run m2, and if it doesn't work, then you'll know it is Regions and Provinces mod (I'm almost 100% sure it is the UAC, as I had the same problem), you can always enable it again whenever you want if it's not that.

I just done it! Whooo!! Atcually I did it before reading this post, but you where right. I did it on Administrator, tweaked the prefrences a bit and walla!

Now all I need to do is get Cine-ed to work on SS, get rid of banners on SS and I'm happy

Thank ya yaelthecruel for that info... I'll include it in the Cine-Ed FAQ because if I understood you correctly it can prevent people from changing the cine-ed.cfg?!

I am using Visat 64 bit on my desktop. I used a combinaiton of the Tweak-UAC program and installing the games to a location other than C:\Program Files (x86) - this allows me to have the preferences, saves and replays in the game folder (subfolders) rather than the 'virtual store' location.
