Shouldn't he have darker hair?
Whatcha' wearing?
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Is that guy taking fashion tips from Princess Leia with the cinnamon bun hair?
@fourganger NO parthians don't have dark hair It's very wrong in RTW vanilla to treat all easterners like eastern asians; they were a branch of scythians and scythians are blonds.
The new head is modelled after the head of general Surena:
I don't know how widely this funny hair style was used, but it looks special and no other mod does that I think

When will it be released Love and Kisses.
I dunno. I'll stop making new units for about a week and try to get my life back I also need to find pics about armenians and pontus... right now there is nothing except for EB's and RS2's examples..
Maybe I can finish it before the end of this year.

Nice parthians, but you dont have any Infantry. I know parthians were horse riders mostly, but didnt they have any soldiers that did fight on ground (except the posted one) Like, for sieges and that kind of stuff.
They have great walls and garrison infantry but didn't use siege engines - it's specially mentioned by romans I remember. In the mod, however, the parthians can recruit onagers and other siege weapons after they build the extra buildings: catapult range and siege engineer (not needed for romans & greeks).
As far as I know they didn't have any standing infantry in the army. Unlike armenians and later sassanians, their nobles always fought on horse. I guess they probably relied on local militia or auxiliary troops for foot soldiers, just like romans used auxiliary cavalry. If you want infantry you can check the New Eastern AOR thread - there are high-quality soldiers such as Kardaka, though they're more likely to be used by your enemies

Hm... Okay, but how about doing 1-2 Auxilary troops then? Only with light armour of course
Well they didn't have any capable infantry of their own, so it'd have to be imported from other factions. I think I have found a new way to implement this

so, I gather that you model the horses yeself, right?:hmmm:
just wondering.
I haz a culler!! (really, who gives a darn? its totally meaningless, and it doesn't really accurately reflect who I am)
Nope I made only the armour (cut & edit from vanilla) and the horse is Pinarius' work. I'm a noob modeler

Amazing skins aqd.
I see you have chosen surena as a model for the parthian general, did you solved the problem of specific culture/generals (to have different models for each factions)? I don't remember that they succeed in with the last RTR...
