CTD
I downloaded and followed the instructions in installing this mod,but I keep getting a CTD right before the game loads.I patched it up to 1.3,and I still get a CTD.

Re: CTD
Welcome. Which version did you download and install? Did you try the 1.3 patch before you installed the mod? A little more info and I can help.

Re: CTD
Did you use http://rapidshare.com/files/24842094/RPM_BMv2.3.exe or http://files.filefront.com/RPM_BMv23.../fileinfo.html for downloading? If you did, they are both still good copies.
It does take 1.2 to play it. 1.3 is a nicety. I have it loaded as I have Kingdoms. Now my original question, did the game play before you installed the mod? Also, do you have any mods installed besides this one? I hope not as they're incompatible. Also, what does your system.log.txt show?
Thank you for the input, now I need your help.

Re: CTD
In the logs folder is the system.log.txt. That is the file with the error messages if there are nay are captured. What does it say?
Napoleon2 in Rome wouldn't do this. It's something else.

Re: CTD
You're right, if BC works, it's this mod.
I have Broken Crescent on my computer. From looking in their folder they have changed a couple of the original files not in the mod folder. Did you do a total uninstall and reinstall to get rid of any trace of BC? If you didn't and just installed this one over the top, it will ctd. Massive conflicts in files and units that don't show up in logs.
If you're curious why so long to reply, I just got off work.

Re: CTD
That maybe your ctd. Don't remember. Right now, I don't have it on my computer. In front of each line listed in the error log for that file, comment it out with a semicolon and see if that gets rid of the ctd. I think it also causes a ctd in the EDU, too. I'm going to have to download it do it. Thank you for your help.

Re: CTD
Try this out and see if it ctds. Please delete the map.rwm before you do as it contains some of this info, too. If it does, please another copy of the system.log.txt. Hopefully this will help others.
