Well look, the MTW2 version is still being made with its improvements, but the RTW version has been in the making for the 2 years, and by this point consists not of game pixels but of sweat and guts that people have put into it; plus it is playable now, and for those who don't have MTW2. Let's all respect the amount of work that modders put into their projects.

Except Rome starts in the 3rd century, not the 4th, like PI does (correct me if I'm wrong).

The good thing is that many files that we mod for RTW/BI PI can be used also in M2TW! At the moment I'm solely involved in making the beta release better and am doing no work on M2TW but my files I mod can be used in M2TW PI...

In truth, only the models and a few graphics are the same. The effort put into recreating the game on the MTW2 engine was nearly the same as making a new game from scratch. Nevertheless, a lot of time was saved with the models which are an extraordinarily time-consuming thing.

No i hope that the team isn't spending to much time on the RTW version and let the MTW cliub wait .
I know it sounds selfish but i hate the Medieval time and loved the roman /greek episode.

Don't forget there's an inverse relationship between graphics quality and AI quality in the TW series. The first few games STW and MTW have poor sprite graphics and excellent AI, as the series has progressed the AI has dived as graphic quality has improved. AI for M2TW and KTW are a shocker! ... I expect ETW will have pretty ships and no AI! .. or AS!

In other words, RTW AI was actually poor but better than M2TW!

honestly i dont care about any of the factions in the medival period besides the ERE!

but in RTW there are so many factions you could connect with, the glory of rome, freedom for gaul, the glory of greece or Macedonia. or the long shots carthage or even pontius or the scythians and with mods like RS and EB just dominates mtw2 kinda why im so excited for PI cant wait to play with early rome.

This line boggles me. I run RTW on vista premium 32 as well as the mods that are not naturally plagued with ctd's.

Hi! This looked really cool, and so I downloaded it. But, after I installed it, i open the file. This options showed up:

BI
PI
Paeninsula Italica
Read before s...

I pushed the Paeninsula Italica, the game started. But when I pushed the Imperial Campaign, it showed "choose an item from the list", so I pushed the other campaign, (the one that is the option longest down) I now got to which faction to be. I chose Julii, but it just started a normal campaign! Can anyone help me?!
