Amir Miswar was educated in Marrakesh and was then brought into Iberia to fight with his father. After his father's death, he finished the conquest of both Castille-Leon and Aragon. He died shortly after this screenshot was taken, but he was essentially retired in Palma anyway. His son has launched a campaign in Africa, and he just took Tunis.
Smail is less of an imam than he is an assassin. This guy doesn't muck about. Very handy sort of person to have when you're trying to convert an entire peninsula. Funny story about Coimbra - I didn't want to ruin my reputation by just invading Portugal, so I sent a diplomat to demand some terrible things and hopefully spark a war. Instead, they accepted and gave me Coimbra. *shrugs*
Portugal was annoying me with their armies wandering through my lands - I hate to imagine how annoyed the Germans are at them. Also world map. I just sacked Timbuktu after 20 years and three attempts. Of course there was a plague going on when I finally took it...

still you got there some nice RP factors on the description of your general, i remember in the vanilla when using Portugal (again) my faction leader (D. Alfonso Henrique) he had all points of command, half piety, half and one more chivalry and the rest don't remember, i used it to capture 10 Moorish settlements till he died from old age.
This one is a my personal favorite. Turned out nice!!
